Popular Movies That Got A 0% On Rotten Tomatoes

Through its Tomatometer, curated critics’ consensus, and its audience score, Rotten Tomatoes has guided moviegoers for more than two decades. The chances of a film getting a 100% on Rotten Tomatoes is extremely rare, getting 0% is even rarer. A 0% rating is a perfectly bad score, the worst rating a film can possibly get. The truth is that there are a lot of horrible movies out there, but, there are only a little over 40 films that made this über exclusive list. Even so, some of the most horrible films have gotten good reviews here and there. The Rotten Tomatoes rating is based on a film being reviewed at least 20 times by at least 20 different outlets.

There are also films out there without existing positive reviews that haven’t appeared on the list. This is because they have not met the 20 review criteria to be registered. In the following list are some of the most popular films that received the lowest possible score on Rotten Tomatoes.

9 The Ridiculous 6 (2015)

With Adam Sandler, Taylor Lautner, Terry Crews, Jorge Garcia, Luke Wilson and Rob Schneider, the film was relatively successful. Back when the flick was released exclusively on Netflix, it received the highest opening numbers in the streamer’s history. By the end of its first 30 days on the platform it had been watched more times than any other movie on Netflix. Despite its record-breaking performance, critics described the film as “lazily offensive”, even calling it “a standard couch fare for Adam Sandler fanatics and must-avoid viewing for film enthusiasts of every other persuasion.”
