When you’re famous, the world is your oyster. Few can pull it off, but the ones that do get to enjoy a great quality of life. That said, even the rich and famous aren’t immune from pitfalls.

Liv Tyler has been famous for ages, and she’s enjoyed her time in entertainment. Tyler has had famous friends, some notable relationships with major actors, and has even starred in the MCU. While things have largely gone as planned for the star, years back, she found herself the victim of a scam that cost her a fortune.

Let’s take a look back on how the star was scammed out of over $200,000.

Liv Tyler Is A Successful Actress

Being the child of a rock star means breaking out of their shadow to establish yourself as an independent performer. This was the road that Liv Tyler took years back when she looked to come out of the shadow of her father, Steven Tyler, who is the iconic frontman of Aerosmith.

Ironically, Aerosmith videos helped Tyler make a name for herself, but she eventually developed her own name in the business. This is thanks to starring in major films and even a hit TV show.

Tyler’s major film credits include Armageddon, the Lord of the Rings films, The Incredible Hulk, Empire Records, and more.

Surprisingly, the actress turned down her hit role in Armageddon multiple times before taking hte job.

“I really didn’t want to do it at first and I turned it down a couple of times, but the biggest reason I changed my mind was because I was scared of it. I wanted to try it for that very reason. I mean, I’m not really in this to do amazing things in my career – I just want it to be special when I make a movie,” she said.

Tyler’s had limited TV work, but has been successful there, with shows like 9-1-1: Lone Star anchoring her filmography.

Thanks to all the success that Tyler has found, she’s been able to stack up an impressive fortune.

Tyler Has A Net Worth Of $50 Million

The majority of Tyler’s salaries are unknown at this type, but with the slate of hits that she’s appeared in, including her successful TV show, one can only imagine how much she has been able to make through the years.

Another way that Tyler has made some money is in the world of real estate.

“In 2003, Liv paid $2.53 million for a four-bedroom brownstone in New York City’s West Village. She sold the home in November 2019 for $17.45 million. She and her partner, sports agent Dave Gardner, primarily live in West London, where they own a $12.45 million townhouse,” Celebrity Net Worth writes.

Of course, we can’t ignore the endorsement deals that Tyler has landed, as well. Those tend to payout millions of dollars, depending on the star. Having worked with brands like Givenchy, we imagine that Tyler’s bank account would look great with her endorsements alone.

It’s a good thing that Tyler has her finances covered, because years back, the actress was scammed out of hundreds of thousands of dollars, something that could have devastated many others.
