According to Australian singer and former X Factor UK judge, Danni Minogue, Jennifer Lopez had a list of “diva demands” when she appeared on the British television show Top of the Pops in the late ’90s. Minogue claimed on her podcast that J.Lo “refused to perform” unless her dressing room was completely redecorated.

The “Jenny from the Block star” allegedly demanded that “everything had to be white or she wouldn’t go on stage.” Speaking on her podcast The 90s with Dannii Minogue, the older sister of Kylie Minogue, spilled the tea. “I was at Top of the Pops and was told Jennifer Lopez was on her way, but she refused to perform unless her backstage room was redecorated.”


“I was told everything had to be white, including the sofa. I asked to go in and see the room as she wasn’t there in that moment… I was lapping up every detail,” Dannii added with a laugh. “All I could think was, ‘Girlfriend is covered head to toe in body makeup. How do you sit on a white couch?'”

Lopez dished to her fans via her newsletter that her and her two children flew to Las Vegas on Saturday to obtain the couple’s marriage license. They were married later that night at the Little White Chapel, in the “tunnel of love” drive-thru. Calling it the “best possible wedding we could have imagined,” Lopez also revealed that she used a Bluetooth speaker to play their wedding march.

In the newsletter, Lopez called her two children “the best witnesses you could ever imagine,” and wrote that she and her new husband “read our own vows in the little chapel and gave one another the rings we’ll wear for the rest of our lives.” The mom of Emme Maribel Muñiz, 14, and Maximilian David Muñiz, 14, added: “Stick around long enough and maybe you’ll find the best moment of your life in a drive through in Las Vegas at 12:30 in the morning in the tunnel of love drive through with your kids and the one you’ll spend forever with.”


In the early 2000s the couple were dubbed “Bennifer” and were consistently on the cover of tabloids. In late 2002, Affleck popped the question, however the couple called it quits in 2004 before exchanging vows. ET reports Lopez and Affleck were on friendly terms, but reconnected after Lopez’s split from former baseball star Alex Rodriguez last year.

He has won two Academy Awards, one for Best Screenplay for Good Will Hunting and another for Best Director for Argo. A witness who observed Lopez and Affleck exchange vows has given a first-hand account of their intimate nuptials. Kenosha Portis was working as a witness at the Little White Wedding Chapel on Saturday. Speaking with Good Morning America, Portis said the couple were “emotional” and “cried” during the ceremony.

“It was so exciting. I mean, we were getting ready to close and we had a special guest arrive as a walk-in. I started shaking a little bit, you know, ‘Oh my God this is Jennifer Lopez we are getting ready to marry!'” Kenosha recalled. “She had on a nice, elegant, beige, lacy type dress. It had a train on it. The veil was beautiful. Everything was very sleek and beautiful. She was stunning,’ Kenosha said. ‘She had a beautiful bouquet, white bouquet, that she had, and he had a boutonniere as well that matches that.”
